Stream app is awful w Samsung frame tv

Why is the Xfinity stream app so terrible with Samsung frame tv?  No other apps have issues but this one barely fast forwards or rewinds regardless of speed selected.  It intermittently pauses on its own and errors out.   Will this ever be fixed.  Clearly it’s not an issue with the TV when all other apps function perfect.
