Scripps
I'd like to file a complaint regarding Scripps not renewing their contract with Comcast/Xfinity. It's not right that I have to subscribe to another streaming program to be able to watch ABC -Tampa, FL. I pay a total of $76.50 a month just for the Choice TV with Broadcast fees and additional fee for internet. This is so unfair to us as long time customers. I called Customer Service who appeared to be clueless about the Scripps contract not being renewed and all he wanted to due was sell me other services that I don't want or need. We are paying for a service and not getting what we paid for. It would be nice to be able to call Xfinity and talk to a person who can actually listen to your situation and have it handled accordingly. I have to say that Xfinity has the worst Customer Service I have ever come across. It's sad that I am limited to the Internet / TV services in my area. From I see Frontier is no better and their service is always down.
I was told that I would receive a credit which is yet to happen. I think the person I was talking to simply just told me that to get me off the phone since I wouldn't purchase another service.
You don't even offer a Senior discount.

I know it can be frustrating when dealing with programing changes. Most of the channels that we offer are owned by media companies other than Comcast, which means we need to pay those companies in order to bring their channels to our customers. We negotiate contracts with these media companies to obtain the rights to carry their channels, on-demand content, and streaming apps on our platforms. Comcast has successfully renegotiated thousands of expiring contracts over the years and rarely experienced an interruption of service.
