Roku and Xfinity Stream Beta Feedback/Issues
Hi, we have been trying to use our Roku devices to run the Xfinity Stream app. I love the idea and it may actually keep me as an Xfinity customer...however, we have the following issues:
1) Their does not appear to be a way to direct input a channel #. I've tried using the smartphone roku app keyboard and its not working. An Xfinity/Roku remote with some IR learning capability would be great!
2) Perhaps a more immediate resolution is available for this issue, we are struggling with the FastForward and Rewind capability. It either jumps too far ahead or too far back and you never really know where it is as the status line moves faster than the image. Any suggestions here?
Thank you

This is a great feature and I agree if this app continues I will likely be a continuing customer of Xfinity. We have had some issues with the app from time to time like pre-recorded shows starting then a few minutes in they will go back to the home screen. The only fix was rebooting the Roku device, I think it would be great to include the auto HD channel like the Xfinity box does. Also adding the ability to record a show you are currently watching from the options would be a great add. So far so good I hope they can clean up some of the quirkyness of this app and move it out of Beta and into a value add to Xfinity services. Great to see streaming and cord cable teaming up.

Please add 30 second skip or some type of skip function on the xfinity stream app on Roku. Also when is Xfinity Stream app coming to other devices like apple tv and amazon fire tv stick 4k?

There should be a skip function as well like sling tv and youtube tv has if they want to compete with cord cutting tv services.

to get pause of live TV you will need a set top box. if you have a DVR subscription, and are watching in home you can record a program and while in progress watch it and pause as desired.
