remote control xr15 help voice command is turned on but still does not work ...

I have followed the 'repair' etc pressing A and D button, press 981 etc. and follow instructions ... done it twice. the voice command shows turned on and it works fine for a few minutes. 

then, it goes right back to the voice command  not working. the other functions on the remote seem to work fine.

Oh, no! Sorry to hear about the trouble with your voice command on the XR15, @user_297pxb. I can understand the frustration, I use my voice command a lot myself. Are you near a Xfinity Store? You're welcome to stop by and pick up a new one. There's no charge for it.

thanks for the advice. will have to do that if I can't fix it otherwise. there is a store not that far away.

the remote seems to work for the time being. same for the second TV. so I shall just hope it stays that way.
