Problems with my streaming services

Is anyone else having issues with streaming Xfinity on their laptop? I pay all this money and now I cannot stream on my Macbook or chromebook.

Upgraded to Safari 15.1 and I was able to stream via Safari again.  Thankfully, b/c the HD quality is much better in Safari than it was in Google Chrome.

Apologies if this is already known but... my long standing problem streaming Comcast channels in Safari browser has been solved in Safari 15.1.

Update in OS seems to have corrected most MacBook streaming problems. But as other threads show, using a free streaming app like Friendly Streaming also solves the temporary issue. Dr Mac

Ok people I found an answer to the Streaming Error code TVAPP-00100 and similar. I have tested this method repeatedly or I would not bring it to this forum.

The remedy that worked for me was to temporarily turn off VPN from my Norton app prior to logging into Xfinity Stream. Immediately after logging in the VPN can be turned back on again. You're welcome Comcast. I hope this helps some of you Xfinity/Comcast customers but in the very least it is a good lead for the Comcast streaming team to locate and repair the problem.

It takes an hour or more just to speak to someone in tech and even after speaking to someone the customer satisfaction rating is extremely low.  Truth is anyone can get the same information the Xfinity/Comcast employees use to try and help there customers (They use the Einstein program which is a flash card system to attempt to find answers.) 
I know it's difficult to find good employees in the current world environment but other large corporations have proven they can do it but Xfinity/Comcast management continues to successfully deteriorate the reputation of the company.
