Greetings, @user_93jfxo! Thanks for spending some time to find out why you are seeing a dark picture. Are you watching on a TV box or using the Xfinity Stream app? Does the brightness improve if you are viewing something outside of Xfinity service such as an app watched through your Smart TV?
We recommend resetting the TV and TV box (if you have one). Also check your TV settings to ensure nothing has changed. You can toggle the picture between different settings to ensure it is not causing the problem such as vivid and standard.
