peacock premium

I recently upgraded by internet speed/plan to 1 GIG which comes with free Peacock Premium for 2 years. They sent me a link to activate my free subscription and I follow the steps they told me but cannot activate my free premium account. Already spoke with a live agent who didn't help. Called the customer service rep who told me to download the app and sign in with my xfinity account, also did not work. I have followed all the troubleshooting they've asked me to and nothing works. Xfinity is just lying at this point, they don't plan on giving you access to anything. I'm considering switching to another provider with lower costs and who actually gives you what they promise.
