Peacock Activation:Platinum Benefit

I am unable to activate the peacock premium subscription included as a member benefit of my platinum subscription.

I selected the benefit from the member benefits page which instructed me to activate the subscription through "your subscriptions" however the peacock subscription is not listed there. The page says I don't have any subscriptions yet. 

Additionally, on the "My stream store" page it says I have subscriptions that need to be activated, but when I click activate now it brings me to the subscriptions page, that again says I don't have any active subscriptions.

Please help me troubleshoot, and activate the subscription.
