Not able to activate Peacock Premium

Hi There!

For over a week ive not been able to activate peacock premium.

1) When I click on Activate Peacock on the email ive received, I get the error "Something Unexpected happened".

2) When I attempt to use this link, it only spins endlessly without results. https://customer.xfinity.com/activate-peacock

PLease help me out so I can activate Peacock streaming. Note that ive also seen messages on sending Dms to support but I dont seem to be able to do that. I dont have the pencil icon on the right.

user_x6owhl Hi, and thanks for reaching out. I understand wanting to take advantage of that offer! I've been there before. While I know this is important to you, sending a direct message would greatly help. Before we go there, let's do some basic steps first. First question is, I see you are using the email sent to you, but do you have a TV box?

No I do not have a TV box. I’m trying to set this up on my browser and then my use it on my Samsung TV.

May I know how to activate with this error?

@user_x6owhl go to your profile settings(click on the profile picture top right) and uncheck the box "Opt out from Direct Messaging". This should allow you to see the DM icon and send a direct message.

Ive enabled DMs. Ive also sent you a DM with my info. Could you help me look into activating Peacock?

user_x6owhl I apologize, but I do not see that we requested any direct/private messages. If you are attempting to send a message to one of us directly, we will not reply, and you may not have the option to message us open till you are invited.

It sounds like you may need to troubleshoot your connection, if before you were not able to connect to the activation link, and now you are able, but still run into an error. Are you connected to your home Wifi network when attempting the Peacock activation?

Yes im connected to my home WIFI network while attempting to activate the link. Here is a summary of the issues im facing and I would appreciate your help in helping resolve this:

 

  • Recently purchased the Xfinity home internet to take advantage of the Peacock and Xfinity Stream service.
  • Connected to the xfinity WIFI network at my home
  • Clicked on the link received from Xfinity to activate the Peacock service but getting an error which ive posted above - "Something unexpected happened"
  • Requested for help in fixing this error so I can activate the Peacock service included with my Xfinity service.
