New Mac Mini M2 - sound but no video from Xfinity Stream using Safari, Chrome or FireFox
I am having a similar issue as has been reported many times in this forum. In my situation the standard "did you clear browser cache/restart/try different browsers" have not worked and honestly don't make any sense. This issue has occurred with a brand new out of the box Mac Mini M2 running Mac OS 13.2.1. The first thing I did after initial setup was to open Safari, navigate to xfinity.com, login using my default account and then went to the TV/Xfinity Stream link. After a second login was presented with the standard page to pick shows. No matter which show I pick I get audio but no video on the screen. Being that this was the initial login to Xfinity/Xfinity Stream there is really no cache to clear, but being a glutton for punishment I tried that as well. After the failures with Safari I went down the same route with FireFox and Chrome. All 3 browsers have the exact same issue.
I am also UNABLE to use Xfinity Stream on my 2015 27in iMac running Mac OS 12.6.3 using any of the 3 browsers. This computer has been able to use Xfinity Stream in the past, but has not worked with it for several months now.
I am ABLE to use Xfinity Stream via my 2020 27in iMac running Mac OS 13.2.1 using any of the 3 browsers w/o issue.
As I mentioned previously I have seen many people with VERY similar issues post here, and other forums around the internet, but no one has posted a consistent fix.

After spending some time chatting with Xfinity Support I was able to get Chrome working by turning off hardware acceleration in the Chrome Settings. Unfortunately the same option in FireFox didn't resolve the issue and I wasn't able to find this option in Safari. So 1 out of 3 browsers now work on my Mac mini M2 2023.
