new customer having technical difficulties

I am often having difficulties using the Xfinity Stream app. I am using a Chromebook computer. 

I downloaded the app to the Chromebook and sometimes when I try to use it I get this error message. see picture.Pic 1 - Error page on AppPic 1 - Error page on AppThis is what I see when I click on  This is what I see when I click on "Up date Settings"

There does not seem to be any settings to change???

I've been like to see Xfinity stream website and plus 5cv hereFrom - From - "https://www.xfinity.com/stream/"

 

why is this not working for me?

are you inside the usa and connected to your own home wifi (xfinity)? do you pay for subscription cable TV service?

use the chrome browser and the streaming website tv.xfinity.com instead.

the chrome browser will need to have flash turned on. click on the lock symbol in the address bar and change to allow (not allow default on some browsers).
