My NOW TV Streamsavers subscriptions are a nightmare!

Why can't I sign into the Streamsavers which I just changed to last week? My Xumo box came in a couple of days ago and I set it up yesterday. Everything is fine except that I can't get into Peacock nor Apple TV. I've had Peacock for several years and so when I was asked to signin, it should have been easy. It wasn't. I used the QR code they have on the screen to sign in on their website, but then it tries to sell me their service to access.  And for Apple, I go to the link website they give, and put in the code that's listed onscreen a Xfinity, and it asks me to put in my email address and then a Password, which I created, and then it says "There was an error. Please try later." But it still wants me to fill in the page with my name and address, email and password, and continue.  Only, the same page keeps coming back with "There was an error. Please try later." and never advances past that. It's been saying that for the past 2 days, and I don't want to fill in anymore info for fear it will entirely shut me out. What is going on? Why can't I get into these services. Xfinity offers all of this and customers can't get in.  I need help.

Hi D_w2615, thank you for reaching out and sharing those details. Let's start with each app and go from there. Regarding your Peacock account, were you being billed with Xfinity, or a 3rd party? Since you already have a Peacock account, you should be able to sign in with the existing email address associated with your Peacock account. Sometimes, customers won't necessarily use the same email as the one used for their Xfinity account. Do you have any other email addresses that may have been used to set up your Peacock account?

OK, I'm returning to let everyone know that I've succeeded in getting subscribed to the 3 services now.  For Peacock which I've had for free for several years with my Xfinity service, I gave up after that first day after posting my message here, it was too exhausting to continue getting nowhere.  I tried again the next day when I received a message from Xfinity to activate each of them through links in that email. I finally got past that error page I had been getting, and was able to sign in and get Peacock linked to my new Xumo, and so far, it's opening whenever I click onto the app. Next, and worst of all, was the Apple TV+ subscription. I don't think I've ever had such a horrible experience in signing into a new service as I did with them. Their system and their personnel didn't seem to know anything about the Streamsaver package, and so they didn't know how to troubleshoot for it. I've never had an Apple account before, so I had to sign up for one. I tried doing that when prompted, but that's when it kept going into the verification roundabout.  I first tried to chat with Apple, but after 3 different tries with 3 different persons who I think had given up because they disappeared from the chat, it was hours with no progress. Apple kept emailing me verification codes but failed to recognize them when I put them in the boxes. One guy who I'd been on chat with for about 1/2 hour, told me "If you want to subscribe for any subscription from apple, you need apple account, as I have checked I don't see any account for your email address".  Talk about frustration. This was finally fixed late yesterday evening with the help of a supervisor who phoned me and we walked through the whole thing including the elusive verification process, even she admitted that she'd never seen that happen before, but eventually she got me registered with an account.  And currently all 3 are accessible and working fine now.

I do want to say, however, that now today, Xfinity Stream has disappeared from my service, when it was working fine all week. So, what's going on with that?

BTW, I had absolutely no trouble at all signing up for Netflix through the links provided by Xfinity. It was a pure joy to deal with such a professionally run service.

We regret to hear activating some of the services included with StreamSaver was not a straightforward process @D_w2615. Thankfully, it would appear that has been resolved.

Is Xfinity Stream not appearing on the Xumo box or are you receiving an error message when trying to sign in to Xfinity Stream on a different device?
