Local channels are missing, or disappear on my home devices

I see many questions and cannot fix my issues, regardless of the troubleshooting. My Hisense (fireTV) Xfinity Stream app will not show the local channels. My Samsung TV, with a Fire Stick, will show 2 local channels for a limited time, then disappear. My log-in on my PC will not show the local channels. My Android app on my mobile shows two local channels (ABC/NBC). None show the in town Fox station. I have installed, reinstalled, and restarted each device, the Xfinity Modem/Wifi, with the same results. I would also note that each show TV GO for each channel in the listing, local or not. I have seen that in some cases an account requires provisioning to re-estbilsh the local stations. I have used the Xfinity Assistant and it never addresses the issue no matter how many times I circle around. Please assist.  Thank you!

Shoelessjoe42  Thanks for reaching out! Do you only watch Xfinity TV on a streaming device, or do you have X1 TV boxes in your home? If you do have X1 TV boxes in the home, I would recommend trying a system refresh outlined in the following article.

I  only watch via the stream app, and via the WEB browser on my PC. I spent over an hour with support a couple of nights ago. Bottom line is: I have stream because of my Internet plan. Because of this it was explained that the channel line-up is via TV GO only and does not include local channels. This is very disappointing. However, I do get ABC and NBC on a couple of devices for an evening. Clearly, there is a refresh timeframe that these two local stations get cleared. Still very disappointing. There is no resolution to this as it seems this is an unpaid feature. I'm not happy with this because the implication was always that the locals were part of the Stream included. It has been very frustrating and confusing. What adds to this frustration was all the troubleshooting, re-installing, resetting, powering up and down of all devices, my modem/router.... So I consider this issue closed at this time because there is no solution except to purchase a TV plan. The included channel line-up is pretty much garbage to me.  Thank you for the time to reply.

Shoelessjoe42 Thank you for the update, and additional information! It sounds like you have the NOW TV service which unfortunately does not include local channels. You would need the Xfinity Choice TV package in order to have access to local programing.
