In-home network

I'm recording a program that I also want to watch on my iPad.  I have been able to do this previously, but now the "watch" option is grey.  I am at home, connected to my in-home network.  I have been able to do this previously.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Ann

Same problem: connected to my home wifi, unable to watch some content with that "Connect to in-home WiFi to watch" message.
To pre-answer some tech support script questions:

- Yes, I am sure I am connected to my home wifi

- Yes, I tried different devices:  tried to watch in a browser on a laptop, and Xfinity Stream app on my Adroid phone

- Yes, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the mobile app

- No, I have my own modem, but it is on Xfinity approved list, new top-of-the-line Arris T25

Please advise.

for testing, can you play back on an iphone (app)  and a desk/laptop using the stream website? does the playback work on that device?

use the xfinity my account app. go to the internet tab and touch the gateway/modem listed. compare the 'serial number' shown to your gateway/modem's HFC MAC Address. is it exactly the same?
