Incompetence!! (Xfinity Streaming App not working and giving multiple error codes for over 2 hours!)

For the past 2+ hours my Xfinity streaming app hasn't been working. It's giving me multiple error codes when I try to access any channel. APP-00206, APP-00231, APP-00258, APP-00287 and several others!! It also made me re-sign in like 15 times! I called as soon as this started and the automated system said there was an hour wait time and I could opt for a call back within the hour. I opted for the call back and when the call came through the person was whispering to somebody in the background and when I said "Hello?" they hung up!! I've been on hold now for almost an hour and a half waiting for this incompetent company to answer! Looks like I'll be switching to Sling tomorrow when I wake up.

After waiting on hold for 1hour and 58 minutes I finally got somebody. I immediately asked to speak to a supervisor and THEY hung up on me!! Five minutes later I get a text saying the service is back up like this was a planned issue and we had prior knowledge!! What a terrible company!

I just now had the APP-00231 error code myself when trying to use the Xfinity App on my Roku Player (about 20 minutes ago). It wouldn't let me watch any channel (I tried both the local ABC and CBS affiliates, late this Saturday morning, for the record). Then I tried unplugging the power cord on the Roku player for a minute or two, then I plugged it back in. After the Roku restarted, I tried the Xfinity app again. Sure enough, it worked! I'm now enjoying a nice hockey game on ABC right now.

@KinsrowMtnLion36 Thank you for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. I can truly understand the frustration this has caused you. Is the error still happening?
