Highlighting on xfinity steam menu on firestick not working

The menu on my fire stick Xfinity streaming app stopped highlighting selections thereby making it unnavigable.

Hello user_hc49jv is this still a concern for you? Have you attempted to update the Stream App to the most recent version, and refresh the Firestick to make sure it is up-to-date as well?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the Xfinity stream app and also updated my firestick and I still have the same problem with the highlighting not appearing.  You can’t tell what you are selecting in the menus

Thank you for trying those steps, user_d0caa6! I do not see this as a known issue. I also checked my Fire Sticks and they have the highlighting coming up. It is 2 white bars at the top and bottom of the section I am on. It also turns the writing purple when I am on a TV listing. We will get this figured out!

Are you not seeing the highlighting in a certain section of the app or no matter what section you try such as TV listings, Browse, or Recordings? 

If you go into the Xfinity app settings and scroll to the bottom where it shows About, are you on Version 8.7.0.19?

We have the same issue on one of our Vizio tv’s.  The app menu options do not highlight in purple so you can see what you are selecting.
