HD Resolution for Xfinity Stream

When using the Xfinity Stream app on my Roku the channels are all widescreen but reduced resolution.  How can I adjust setting on the Xfinity Stream spp to get full HD resolution?

Currently, my workaround is to adjust my TV's aspect ratio to Cinema.

pick a linear numbered channel that is local. play both the SD version and HD version. do you see a difference? what is the output of your Roku set to produce? mine is on 1080p. have you gone through the TV for the roku's set up (brightness, sharpness, contrast, turn off motion enhancements, etc?

All the channels are reduced resolution, widescreen SD.  The Roku is setup correctly, the Xfinity Stream app menu, Roku menu and other apps (Hulu, Netflix, etc) all display correctly in HD 1080p.

I cannot locate any settings with Xfinity app to adjust the streaming resolution to get HD resolution 720p or 1080p.

Hi, smwieland! Thank you for posting your question in the Xfinity Forums! In order to have HD channels on the Stream app for your Roku you have to have an HD Tech Fee on your account. You can check if you have it on your billing statement or I can also check it for you. Please send me a private message and include your full name, the account holder's name as it's listed on the billing statement. Click on my name ComcastElla, then click Send a message.
