Guide not found Lg smart tv

I have a new LG smart tv as of Dec 2024. I can install/load the xfinity stream app with the guide loading only at the initial installation/launch of the app. After that, I can only access the mini guide. I have uninstalled/reinstalled. I have unplugged the tv and done a hard reset. I see that this is an issue brought up in the forum going back at least 3 years but cannot find a resolution posted.
