Guess what, gang!!! The Xfinity Stream app on the Amazon FireTV stick lists your favorites! Even when connected to your smart TV!

When I bought my smart TV, I quickly discovered that there's no such thing as an Amazon FireTV app. No big. I simply connected my FireTV stick to the back of my smart TV.

When I access my FireTV stick from my smart TV, the FireTV home screen is identical to what it was on my old dumb TV. And so is the Xfinity Stream app installed on the FireTV stick, favorites and all!

The Xfinity Stream app on the FireTV stick is version 8.16.2.4252, slightly newer than the Android mobile device version, which is 8.16.0.4120. Nevertheless, It is almost identical to the Android mobile device version and the website version. And I can access all my favorites!

In other words, it is not the horrible new smart TV version that Xfinity stuck us with!

So guess where I will be streaming Xfinity from now on? Certainly not from the horrible smart TV app!

Here's hoping Xfinity does not foist the new app on website, mobile, or FireTV users!
