The Xfinity Stream app is available on compatible smart TVs, including LG and Samsung models, allowing you to stream live TV and on-demand content without a cable box. Please follow this link for instructions on how to 'Activate the Xfinity Stream app on LG, Samsung, and Xumo Smart TVs.

Translation: The Stream App doesn't work on Sony TVs. You'd have to add a device like Roku, or one of the other devices listed as compatible on https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-tv-app-requirements.
