From 400+ to 75 in less than 24 hours
Hello All,
I had my service hooked up yesterday, my cable to the house was bad so they ran a temp yesterday ( 300-400 speeds on my cell ) and they came out and buried it today. Props for the quick response time to get the new cable buried. But now my speed is from 50-75. I'm coming off of AT.T so this is still better than the 25 I was getting but I had 400 yesterday. It's 470 hardlined to my main PC in the house, so is my new (er) gateway messed up? I tried cycling power, it kicked out 400 plus for about 5 minutes now it's back to 75...ANY help is greatly appreciated!!
Cheers,
Garry

@user_6b6a7d Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your internet speed. I completely understand how frustrating this must be, and I will do everything I can to help. Would you please direct message your name and the complete service address to get started?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

The concern is not "Community Center" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
