Fire Stick no longer support Stream? Error message
I’m having the current Fire TV location-services issue with Xfinity Stream. I have an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K (1st Gen), Fire OS 6.7.1.1. The Xfinity Stream app worked on this same device/account/network previously, but suddenly began giving the “To play video, we’ll need to know where you are” error. Location permission is enabled. I’ve cleared the cache/data, restarted the Fire Stick, uninstalled/reinstalled the app, and confirmed everything is updated. Xfinity Stream works normally on my phone, iPad, and laptop at the same location. The “Update Settings” button doesn’t take me anywhere, and Fire OS doesn’t have the “High Accuracy or Battery Saving” options referenced by the error. There are multiple recent Xfinity Community reports of the same issue on Fire TV. Please escalate this as a Fire TV/Xfinity Stream location-validation issue rather than having me repeat the standard troubleshooting.

Then, of course, not connecting to the correct network can cause issues so make sure the Wifi network the Firestick is connected to is not a public Xfinity hotspot and is your personal network.
Clear App Data: Navigate to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Xfinity Stream, then select Clear Cache and Clear Data before restarting the device. You mentioned you may have already done this step.
Power Cycle Equipment: Unplug both your Amazon Fire TV Stick and your home Wi-Fi router/modem for 60 seconds, then plug them back in.
Can you confirm your location setting and Wifi network are correct, and have you done the power cycle option yet?
