Finally made that jump
No more cable boxes. For the past two years I've been living at this location where i ended up calling support for bad signal over 20 times. Every time a technician came to fix it i got a new excuse.. it’s this , it’s that, dead zone,added an amp..changed cables 3 times nothing worked.. so at $190 a month i said no more.. i cannot continue to keep paying that much money for such a crapy picture quality that freezes countless time a day. every day.. then after 2 years i finally talked to an agent with a brain that totally new what he was talking about. What about streaming he said.. get rid of your boxes.. get a roku or fire stick (NOT COMPATIBLE WITH APPLE TV)...and some negotiations with the solution department i was able to keep my whole lineup + premium with Netflix and a 250mb line that saves me $50 a month..verdict?
Superb picture quality.. not one freeze, audio cut off or pixalization of any kind..
Do i miss the key pad and voice remote features? Yes . Does it take a bit longer for video and menus to load yes it does..who cares, the picture quality is so much better and the roku was a great investment that will be payed of in 2 month..the app will keep getting better and better as it still in a beta format.
