Error: tvapp-00500

Same error on my Xfinity stream only on 1 of my 4 TVs.  Stream used to work on this tv.  I bought new fire stick and stream app still comes up with same error.  Been going on for 3 months 6 calls and now a tech at my house.  Tech support on phone does not have a clue.  Wasted hours trying to fix

By your description I am not sure if you have the stream app installed on the TV, or on the fire stick(s).

But if it is installed on the TV, I had Firestick issues where other stuff installed on my TV that would fail with the Firestick inserted.  Like the stick would still send something to the TV and the TV would not ignore it even though there was something else in use.  The result I had would be that the resolution would change, so the content was unwatchable until I restarted the other app on the TV.  Removing the stick fixed the problem.

Obviously if you're using the Xfinity app on the Firestick this is not gonna help debug the situation.
