Error: TVAPP-00500 LG TV

I have a brand new LG TV and installed the Xfinity Stream app.  But I only get: "Something went wrong" and "Error: TVAPP-00500.  Please help!

I love streaming the app on my smart TV to enjoy my entertainment so I understand the inconvenience that this can cause. We are the right place to go for help. Can you tell us the year of your LG smart TV model?
