I am not connected to my home wifi. Cant I watch tv go channels on my tv like I do with phone and laptop. I have a Samsung tv

You will need to be connected to your in-home network to watch TV Go channels, @JD2011. Is there a particular reason you haven’t connected your Samsung TV to your home Wi-Fi?

We are connected to our WiFi on my account and still can’t get XFinity stream to work. We still get this message

Hey there user_9hneiy, thanks for reaching out through our community forums! Sorry you're having issues using the Xfinity Stream app. 
A few things you can try if you haven't already is to ensure you have the most updated version of the app, log out and back into the app, uninstall and reinstall the app, and power cycling your modem and smart TV by disconnecting and reconnecting the power supply. I am getting the same error.   The Samsung tv is connected to the same network as our iPad and the iPad works.   We have deleted and reinstalled the app with no luck.  Other streaming services work on the tv.
