I am attempting to use the stream app on a new LG smart tv. I get the error code tvapp 00195.

Go to LG Settings > Support > Software Update to ensure your TV is running the latest version.

It’s updated, but the info is contradictory. One post says a 2018 or newer tv works, then right under it says LG tvs are not eligible. Thank you for the suggestion though.

Depending on the age of the TV you should be able to use the Xfinity streaming app on your LG TV's

I have two LG TV's that I've downloaded the Xfinity app on so they are compatible

I can always go pick up at Xfinity streaming Xumo box for free which is another great way to view your now subscription

To fix the Xfinity Stream App error TVAPP-00195 on an LG TV, first restart your TV (unplug for 60 seconds) and check your internet connection. Next, sign out and back into the app, reinstall the app, or update the TV's firmware. For persistent issues, disable IPv6 in LG network settings.

LG TVs, Samsung Smart TVs, and Apple TV devices are not eligible to stream NOW TV and NOW TV Latino content. Are you subscribed to NOW TV or one of our other entertainment packages?

So can I use my tv or not? These instructions are contradictory. I am subscribed to NOW TV with my internet.
