error 11700

I have beeb having an issue for the last three days with my Xfinity Stream    getting Error code 11700.

Meaning there are too many devices on my account .

I have call Support 8 times and i get the run around .  

i gone to the comcast location and they check with my and was told to call comcast . 

I have log off all three devices/change PW/ update my Modem  and still get this error .   

 

has anyone have this issue

the issue is normally caused by exiting a browser without stopping the stream completely, taking up one of your 5 active slots. after 5 times there are no more active slots. to prevent hit the stop button and 'x' out of the video stream before closing the browser. To fix this on the forum may take a bit of time as your post as written had to be removed for official employee editing due to violation of forum guidelines. call 800-Comcast and select technical support for TV, then ask that team to transfer you to the app support team.  ask the app support team member to deprovision all of your streaming devices. after done, sign on will be necessary for each approved device.
