DRV Recordings on my X1 Not Available through macOS/Safari/Chrome/Firefox xfinity.com/stream, iOS, tvOS and Roku

​The title pretty much sums it up.  This has been occurring for a few months now.  If I'm recalling correctly, it started right after Comcase downgraded their default DVR services.​

​I'm a seasoned software engineer, so I've done the basic trouble shooting techniques; all OS's and apps are current, deleted caches, used different browser apps, on current and previous versions of the OS, deleted sandboxed apps and data, download anew apps, all to no avail.​

​Given the trouble shooting on the number and variety of devices this is occurring on in my account, this appears to be an Xfinity back end issue.​

​To you Xfinity employee monitors, please file a bug report and/or advise on the next steps to resolution.​

Thanks for reaching out regarding the DVR service issues. I appreciate the details of the systems and search engines that you have attempted. Just to clarify a couple of things. Is this impacting all of your recordings? Are you getting any kind of error message? If this is only impacting certain recordings can you confirm which recordings and the age of said recordings?

Sure, I can give you a dump of the available recordings on each device sooner than later.  Of the tope of my head, the other non-X1 devices appear to have similar lists, both a mix of old and new as well.

I checked the issues our engineers are working on and do not see this listed so any additional details you can provide are super helpful! Please let us know some of the names of the affected recordings when you have time to look. Are you using the Primary Xfinity ID when you log in or is it another Xfinity ID such as a Viewer or Member?

Hello there! I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your recordings. When logged into the third party devices, are you logged into the primary account?

I no longer work for Comcast.
