Downloads don’t complete

Most of my downloads will get part of the way done and then a pop up says the program isn’t downloading properly, please try again. No matter how many times I try it does the same thing. This is true for almost every program on my dvr. The programs play fine on the box, but cannot be downloaded on any other device. Seems like the app is broken again, which is pretty common.  (downloads used to not show up in the downloads folder, which other people reported as well)
