I am receiving the following error when attempting to download programming from the Xfinity Streaming app from overseas (Amsterdam and England) over several days.

“Cound not create download

Unfortunately we’re not able to download this program at this time. Please try again in a few minutes, or select another program.”

This worked fine before I left from the USA but failed once I reached Europe. I have attempted this multiple times from different countries over several days.

I would hope that one is not expected to pay for redundant subscriptions when travelling.

Please advise.

The good news: no extra charge!

The bad news: As stated near the bottom of https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-tv-app-requirements under "International viewing":

Xfinity TV programs cannot be streamed outside of the United States. However, programs downloaded to your mobile device can be viewed offline anywhere*, even while you're in other countries. Learn more about cloud and Xfinity On Demand content for devices.

*Although you need to download them while in the US.
