constant droppage

Why can't I get a simple answer as to how to remedy the constant dropping of my signal? I haven't been able to watch a full movie in weeks! Y'all are always trying to get me to switch to xfinity for my phone service - why would I do that when your internet/streaming is so unreliable?! Seriously thinking about switching to comcast!

Is the connection dropping on a Xfinity device or your personal streaming device? 

Are you watching through your cable box or are you steaming using an app when the connection drops?

Are multiple streaming devices affected or just one?

It is when I am streaming using an app when the connection drops. Only one tv.

I'm using a TP-link Router and a Netgear cable modem.

@user_2enc8p Do all devices lose connection or just the one you're streaming on.

Have you noticed if your modem powers off when this happens?

Are you in the same room with your modem?

Do you have any splitters, Wi-Fi extenders or a separate router connected?
