This is my fourth attempt trying to write this on this forum because it keeps erasing it. I have attempted 3 times to change my subscription because i cannot afford my bill . I originally signed up for service going by what the former tenants had where i live not knowing the neighbors pay less. So I tried 2 times via phone . the first service rep told me "i was on the best plan" and that was that. The second rep could not tell me why i could not qualify for the $50 monthly 1 gigabyte just internet service and said a supervisor would call me to tell me why but that never happened..  I finally went in person to Fort Oglethorpe store. Only 2 of the more that 6 workers were helping people the rest were chatting with each other or on their phones or walking around. there were about 10 customers in the store waiting. I finally asked the woman sitting next to me if the other workers were supposed to help people. Another woman across the room looked at me and raised her hangs like she didnt know either. So the workers apparently noticed and a girl named Tracy ( that is what she said her name was) came over and said she would help me. I told her i couldnt afford the plan , i was on a fixed income , and i also didnt want the streaming channel. She said i had a free phone line for a year with my service and i said i have a phone service already and wasnt interested. She then kept insisting i had the free phone service and said " who is your phone provider? until i finally told her . She then said " how much are you paying for your bill? " and i said i am on a family plan and i am fine. But she kept on saying " how much do you pay" until i finally just told her i dont want a free line my service is fine. She then seemed very upset and looked at the computer and said "you are on the best plan." i asked for her name and she said it was Tracy. She then told me i could get just the internet for $80 which i told her is what the guy online had said . She said if i was on auto pay it would be $70. I just felt defeated and agreed. So she had me sign on the laptop. Before i left i try to confirm it was for the same internet i already had which was the 1 gigabyte. She said no, its for the 330 megabyte. I said i told you the guy on the phone told me it would be $80 just for the internet i had. She said "they just say things on the phone that arent true." I said what kind of company do you work for?...i want to cancel what we just did and call and get help . She said its too late because you already signed. i feel very deceived, bullied , and harassed by your customer service people. You should be very ashamed. If there was ANY other provider near me i would take them no matter how bad the service.
