chromebook and downloaded movies from DVR

My wife would like a rather inexpensive way to download movies from our dvr and watch on the road or camping. We have iPads, but would like to also have a cheap chromebook. Question, would a chromebook like this one be sufficient to download a few movies to and watch with xfinity app?

xfinity stream has not worked on Chromebooks for 2 years now app is not compatible with chroebooks

At this time, we only offer the ability to download recordings using the Xfinity Stream app.

Thanks, but the question was looking for an opinion if the Chromebook I linked would be adequate to handle a few movie downloads, I have no idea how much space they take or need to function. thx
