Can't Launch App Consistently - Constant Buffering
I have already worked with Ask Infinity assistant on multiple occasions. This app is a joke.
My TV is a 2025 Samsung Smart TV that has no other issues with any other app downloaded or already installed.
Each day when i turn the tv on and try to launch xfinity stream i either have to clear the cache, clear the data or uninstall the app and start all over. Taking close to 1 hour each day to get the app to launch. Once launched (if i'm lucky for it to decide to launch that day), it will run fine for like 1 hour, then every 30 minutes it will say 'trying to resume'.
I have paid for a replacement gateway at my own expense. Nothing changed.
I have rebooted the gateway and the tv each day. I have disconnect TV and Gateway from power, waited the allotted time, and plugged back in. Same issues, everytime.
I have been routed (after 1 hour of working with a tech AFTER ask xfinity assistant, because there is no direct way anymore to contact comcast for technical assistance unless you follow this process) to a "next level" department that 'provisioned' my TV and got it to work for 1 night of programming only. Once I turned it off and came back the next afternoon to start the app again...nothing. just xfinity stream app screen swirling....for more than 45 minutes until i gave up and watched other programming through different apps.
I would really rather have my DVR box back as this is a total waste of time not to mention the money I'm paying to supposedly be able to watch cable tv.
