Cannot rewind Xfinity Stream app on Apple TV

I recently activated Xfinity Stream as my TV provider and I use it through Apple TV. I have the current Xfinity Stream app and my Apple TV is updated to TVOs 18. I cannot rewind live tv on any channel. How do I fix this?

Hey there, user_w59vjg! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. At this time, via our Xfinity Stream App is not able to rewind live shows. You can rewind with recorded shows/content. We will document the feedback about the option to rewind as we are always looking for ways to improve the experience for our customers. Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns.

I understand the live issue but Apple TV doesn’t rewind or fast-forward even on On Demand shows it obviously something wrong when a $30 fire TV stick will do it. Can you please look into it? Thank you

smitch I can see how this would be frustrating, and would be happy to look into this further. To be honest, even if you are watching a show in On Demand some networks don't have rewind and fast forward available. Would you mind sharing one of the examples you are are experiencing this on?

I have the same issue. When using Apple TV 4k box and running the xfinity streaming App. I can not rewind when watching Live TV with the xfinity streaming App.

This works when using the Xfinity rental box I have. Can xfinity fix their App so it can be used the same as their rental box. I would like to see the xfinity App to have access to the 

sports button C, that is on their remote. I am looking to switch  my service because of these issues.

user_strofr Thank you for your feedback. As of now, our Stream App does not have rewind functionality. We will forward this over to our Engineering Team as we are always looking for ways to improve the tools we have available to make your viewing experience much better.
