(BUG) Xfinity Stream Android TV and FireTV App Mini guide issue!

Hello,

There is a"BUG" when clicking on any channel from the Mini Guide and then you click the back button to view the channel the screen is way to small instead of being in full screen.

The 2 work arounds that I found for this is either clicking the channel in the Mini Guide twice and then click the back button and it will be full screen.

Or the other way is after clicking the channel in the Mini Guide you need to very quickly click the back button before the new channel loads and it will be full screen.

This bug is happening in Xfinity Stream for both Android TV and FireTV versions.

This issue started a while ago and newer versions of Xfinity Stream app have not fixed it.

I'm sorry that the trouble is ongoing for us Superman1975. I know how annoying it can be when you have to find workarounds to get the app to work as expected when trying to enjoy the programs. I would be happy to get this over to our engineers for assistance, but I need to gather more details to create the request and send them the example of the trouble.

We will want to look at the devices you are using to see if the issue can be recreated and check their versions as well as the apps version. I know you mentioned that the updates have not resolved this trouble, so I am going to assume you are on the latest version for the Xfinity Stream app, but that detail will be helpful as well. What is the make of model of the Android TV and the Fire TV device please?

Please send us a direct message with your name and service address, so we can run through some troubleshooting steps with you and work to report this experience to our engineers.

Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
