Blackout streaming

I can’t understand what agreement xfinity would make that blacks out their customers from viewing channels in their package. 
I have paid more for xfinity than my back needs as a human. Such as water, power & gas! 
Really a hassle when something is on live TV at home and you can’t take it with you. What’s the point of the streaming app at that point? 
Why hurt your customers that have been loyal and pay more for your service than any other need or service at home? How rich do you need to be. 
I say do better!
