Is there an update? Sorry if this violated a process. Just looking to see if the issue is fixed or being worked on? The technician I was working with told me there is an issue then hung up.

Good evening user_n1d752 thank you so much for taking the time to reach us here on our Xfinity Forums and adding your voice to the conversation. We are tracking a known issue right now with the Xfinity Stream App on iOS platforms, where local channels and Fox network channels are coming in with distorted or intermittent audio.  Our teams are hard at work investigating and putting out fixes, but we have no ETA at this time for full restoration. We recommend watching for now via X1 or another platform such as Android or Roku. 

 

In the meantime, we would ask that you reach out 1-1, so we can capture your relevant account details for reporting purposes.  Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, clicking on the pen and paper icon, and then entering “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Please include your name and address, and we can get started anytime.

I have been having the same issue all day. On appleTV and iPad. All other apps work but the xfinity stream app keeps dropping the audio for a few seconds then it comes back. All channels.

I was on a call with a rep at Xfinity and was told it’s affecting all iOS devices. Then they just hung up. Not sure why they are not addressing this.
