Apple TV Remote

If I host Xfinity Tv Streaming app on Apple TV,  Will the Apple TV remote same functionality as Xfinity remote?

With the Apple TV remote you will be able to do almost the same thing on the streaming app but you have more features with the Xfinity boxes and remote. I just got rid off all 5 of mine and use strictly Xfinity stream and Apple tv4k devices for tv viewing. No regrets. If you have a specific question I’ll try to answer it.

user_mkk8n4 Thanks for you question. The voice functionality will only work on our X1 boxes. Unless there has been an update to the programming of the 3rd party boxes and plug in sticks. But all the navigational options using the Apple TV remote should work the same and the guide and setup of the Stream app should look same as our boxes.
