App update

Help!  Same thing happened to us and we heavily use the Favorites channels.  Also, can’t find the Smart Resolve setting that allows you to skip commercials.  Not liking the new app updates at all.  Can we switch back to the prior app version?

I just got an e mail about the new Xfinity Stream App coming soon.

I am waiting for it for FireTV and Moble devices and hopefully finally coming to the Google Play Store so I can use it on Onn4K Plus and Shield TV too! 

And was looking forward to it.

But why in the world would Xfinity developers think it is a good idea to remove the option to only view your Favorite channels??????????????

That's just a very bad design choice!!!!!!!!

I mean who wants to have to scroll though every single channel in the Live Guide?????????

In fact there should be at least 4 options "All, Favorite channels, Free to me and HD Only".

Just like the X1 DVR boxes have.

A few Quick questions for Xfinity in the new App update was the Live Guide also updated with an improved design or is it just the main home screen?

And is the Mini guide still available as well and were all the bugs fixed with it like the mini guide not highlighting the current channel when opening?

Also while watching TV can you now click up or down to go to the next channel for "Channel Surfing"

Almost all apps for TV watching have option to click up or down with your remote to go to the next channel "Channel Surfing".

The awful Xfinity TV app update that everyone's complaining about seems to affect only smart TVs. It may not affect other devices. You can only try it and see.

@XfinityMartyR​ This is absolutely AWFUL! We have to scroll through HUNDREDS of SD channels just to find what we are looking for and PAY a lot of money for. Favorites MUST be added into a future update and soon for all Samsung TV customers. Many unhappy paying customers willing to cancel for better service and prices. 

@XfinityMartyR​  Do the developers realize that many of us use xfinity stream because it worked well with the way we already did things and works with the TV box we have in the other room?  If this is a whole new system without Favorite channels and without the ease of finding saved programs, we will drop Xfinity completely.
