AGENT SIGNED ME UP WITHOUT MY CONSENT!
I called and spoke to an agent today. Inquired about what Xfinity has as far as streaming because I am FRUSTRATED BEYOND BELIEF with the state of streaming. Everything is out of control and you need a spreadsheet and a college degree to figure out how to find and watch shows. I just want to cancel everything at this point. Anyway this agent was trying to sell me a mobile line, i said NO several times. Then he was pushing me to sign up for NOW TV streaming and I said NO...it has basically zero channels that I am interested in, no local channels, etc. After I get off the phone without ordering ANYTHING...he puts the order in for NOW TV and I get an email stating that equipment is on its way to me!!! What!??? By the way, he could not tell me which channels were included. He was trying to get me to TRY IT and see and then I could cancel. I said, no, no, and no. How can you sell something and not know what channels are included. The whole streaming industry is a mess. The corporate greed has ruined the TV experience for everyone. I do not blame people for pirating.
I had to spend an hour on the phone with another agent, to un-do this order that was placed without my consent. I welcome Xfinity to listen to the original call, if it was recorded, and see that they hire bad agents that must need to meet an order quota. I hope the ticket that the second agent opened with his "back end team" is investigated and this agent is reprimanded/fired for placing orders without consent! Ticket #ECM0020804018.
