Adobe Flash EOL ~10 weeks away

What's the plan to replace the streaming app?

I won't use a stack that isn't maintained (Flash is already bad enough), so without a replacement, I'll discontinue everything but internet.

Hi @GlenRSmith, thank you for reaching out in the Forums. Just confirming that we no longer use Adobe Flash on the Stream web app. You can continue to use Stream regardless of the Adobe Flash EOL notice.

As noted, Comcast no longer needs Flash for browser streaming. I just tried using Firefox, and did not get a popup about enabling Flash.

When trying to log into xfinity/comcast to stream tv channels, I kept getting the "enable flash" screen (as of March 29,2021) when I used Chrome.  I switched browser to the latest Microsoft Edge and successfully logged on (after establishing a new password for use with Edge).  I then returned to Chrome and logged on using the password I created in Edge and was successful in logging into xfinity/comcast to stream tv channels.  HOORAY!
