Activate Peacock

I have Peacock included with my plan, but am unable to activate it. It asks for the associated email and that is auto filled with the same email address we use for xfinity. The problem is it then says our xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account. But we cancelled that one because we can get it free with xfinity. How do I get passed that step?
