ABC Football in Spanish Play by Play

Using XFinity Stream from the ROKU the ABC football game every Saturday has spanish play by play and I can hear english play by play a little behind it.  This is the only channel as when I watch football games on Fox or CBS no issue. 

I messed with settings and they all show English.  Commercials are in English and lead ins are in English but when in football game action the play by play goes to Spanish.

@XfinityKassie​ I went into settings to make sure SAP was off and that any audio settings where Spanish was an option that English was selected.  Still no luck.  Occasionally it will be English broadcast then halfway thru a play it will jump back to Spanish speaking and hear the English broadcast very lightly in the background.  Do not have this issue during Fox, CBS or NBC games.

Thanks for getting back to us. To confirm, when it changes back to Spanish do you see the SAP icon selected if you press the down button on your remote? Toggling it on and off can typically resolve this.

Was this resolved as to why as I experience the same issue with my xfinity stream service and so far xfinity has been of no help.

Hello @user_b03aa9, we can certainly understand how frustrating it can be to experience audio issues. Have you checked that the preferred audio language in the portal settings are in English?

 

To change your preferred audio language in the portal settings:

  1. On any Xfinity Stream portal page, click the Settings icon at the right end of the menu bar at the top of the page.
    Settings icon.
  2. On the Settings page, click Language.
  3. On the Language page, click your preferred SAP language.
    Language screen with SAP set to espanol.

That's it! Now whenever you watch a program that offers an SAP in your preferred language, you'll hear that language.

Did You Know? You can also select your preferred SAP language while watching any program that includes an SAP soundtrack in that language.

Experiencing the same issue.now on Fox channel ... 804 in Georgia.

Also, had the same issue with the NFL game on CBS, and now it's happening on FOX (Jan 14, 2022)
