30 Second Skip on RokuTV

I have both a Fire TV and a Roku TV with the Stream App installed. The left and right direction buttons perform a 15 sec skip back and 30 sec skip forward, which is perfect. On Roku TV these buttons perform a rewind and a fast forward, which is undesirable since those buttons are already on the remote. 

Can the Roku functionality to updated to perform skips like the Fire TV does? This is probably more of a feature request but I'm hoping this helps in some way.
