Xfinity tv app saying subscription required

Hello, I am an Xfinity cable customer and I am having a problem with the Xfinity streaming app (and web site) saying that a "subscription is required" to watch some shows.   These shows should be part of my line up and available in or out of home. This just started happening.

I contacted Comcast Cares via Twitter. They said they are aware of the issue and are working on it. No further details. Absolutely shocking from this company known for its excellent customer service....

In case you missed it, that comment was dripping with sarcasm.

Same issue.  Can only access basic channels on Stream app.  Already considering "cutting the cord", this may be the final straw.

My issue now extends to my home TVs as well. Can get the basic channels. I can type in the number directly to go to the other channels like ESPN and TBS but if I try viewing them on the guide I’m told I need a subscription and nothing will record on those channels.

After a 30 minute phone convo with tech support I was assured both issues would be fixed within 1 hour. Exactly one hour later I received a text saying both issues were resolved. In actuality, neither issue was resolved.

I called Comcast back and spoke with an actually helpful agent who fixed both issues after about 50 minutes on the phone. All set now.

Nope!  Very disappointed. I don't have an extra hour to spend on the phone with them trying to get help for it. Was hoping they'd jump in here with a resolution or at least a response.

More channels not working today. Motor Trend always streamed just fine but now it shows, "This requires a subscription."

Don't want to jinx it but it might be resolved. I'm getting some channels this morning. Thank you for contacting them, I don't twitter..
