Xfinity Streaming Beta App not working on Samsung tvs

My Xfinity Streaming Beta app has not worked on my Samsung tvs since June 26, 2020.  When the app loads, it goes to the "purchases" screen and states that I have no purchases. I cannot click out of this screen to the channels or live tv. I've contacted xfinity customer service three times since then, but they have no solution. I am paying for this service, but it seems like a solution to the problem is on an indefinite timeline. I've done all of the suggested things: restarted the router, deleted and reinstalled the app, unplugged the tvs. Nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

Xfinity says the software engineers are working on the problem and expect to resolve it by July 14. I have had a Samsung Smart tv for almost a year and this is the fourth time the app stopped working. "Beta" means we don't charge for this app so don't expect it to work flawlessly. The app has been "Beta" for a long time.

I'm impressed that you got an actual date for resolution. What a mess! Thanks for sharing your info, you probably just saved me two hours in the customer service vortex.

I am having the exact same issue, which started on the exact same day, June 26th.  Only difference, I have an LG tv.  I got no resolution with Comcast after hours on the phone! Been using the app since a March with no issues.

I received a robocall today saying that my problem was fixed. It was not, I did all of th things: unplugged the tv and router, deleted the app and reinstalled. I called (for the forth time) and they were able to fix it (after it not working for two weeks). They had to go into my account and unlink an old address that was attached to the account (like a really old address from maybe 5 years ago). I deleted the app, reinstalled, they restarted the router and it seems to be actually working!
