Xfinity Streaming App on iPad
All my streaming apps on my iPad work reliably. No issues.
Xfinity streaming app on TV works fine.
ONLY THE XFINITY app fails to perform reliably. I have constant, but random issues. I used to have freeezing and no picture then no audio.
Now I have random audio gaps. I have trashed and reinstalled the app.
Is there any way to fix these problems?

The xfinity app on ipad and iphone suddenly has decided virtually every channel requires a connection to home wifi, does same on 5G phone, curiously connect a laptop to the SAME wifi bypassing the app using a browser no problem on the same wifi that supposedly requires being on home wifi. So streaming is kind of useless if the app says record (including news channels) to watch later. That it happened suddenly yesterday with two different devices iphone and ipad puts the problem clearly on the app or its implementation. Solution ?

Same issue on iPad Pro, random audio gaps on any channel, any program, video continues as usual with high quality only the audio disappears for 10 seconds then comes back. Very annoying.
I have restarted the device, removed and reinstalled the Stream app, with or without bluetooth enabled, all with no luck. Wi-fi connection is very good, video quality is high so I highly doubt a network problem.
