Xfinity Stream Roku App Volume Issue

Is Xfinity ever going to fix the issue where the volume either goes to zero or to a distorted maximum?  The issue only occurs in the Xfinity app and always occurs midway through a locally inserted commercial.  The only resolution is to exit the stream and restart it.

gk1227, Thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Support. Yes, there is a fix for the volume issue on the Xfinity Stream app on Roku. Customers experiencing volume instability can try the following steps to resync their audio and video:
  1. Go into the Settings menu and check for a device update.
  2. If an update is available, select it.
  3. After updating or if no update is found, turn the device off and back on to ensure the changes are applied, resolving the syncing problem. Additionally, Xfinity is actively working with Roku to investigate and address this issue.

@XfinityAngie That is not the issue being referred to.  The sync issue was fixed, this is in regards to the fluctuation of volume that has now been just over 2 years. I am currently waiting for engineering to get back to me about it. They have been reached out to several times. Until then I am just requesting credits until it is fixed. @gk1227 I would suggest calling and demanding credits too. Maybe if they start to lose enough money they will actually work faster to fix.
